Twelve miles off I-75, but it feels like a world away. Out here, the springs are filled with turquoise blue waters, and Crystal River is one of the only places on earth where you can get in the water with manatees. Hundreds of miles of horse country and silver-canopied trails over in Ocala. And Inverness — our little hometown — has the Old Florida culture that’s hard to find. There’s a lot worth exploring nearby.
